BibleDelve is a newly-written, offline, Bible dictionary specifically designed as an app, with an emphasis on conciseness and interconnectedness, in order to provide immediate access to information, whether reading the Bible, listening to a sermon, or attending a Bible study.The BibleDelve dictionary contains nearly 2000 full entries, with a further 3500 stub entries, plus brief notes on every chapter in the Bible.
These are interlinked with over 35000 cross-references, and also link to over 25000 bible passages in the integrated Bible, which itself links back to the dictionary with more than 80000 cross-references.The dictionary entries also link to zoom in on over 600 locations on large scrollable maps, and the text on the maps is linked back to their dictionary entries.The user can switch between dual-pane and single pane modes to optimise their use of the screen area.The app occupies less than 30Mb of storage, and typically requires less than 100Mb of memory when in use, increasing to a maximum of 350Mb when displaying maps.
Note that Android System Webview must be enabled (the default) to use this app.
